Ecosystem Services staff

The Ecosystem Services Project demands a diverse skill set among the staff and collaborators because of the breadth of expertise and topics that the project covers. This is one of the many reasons why the Ecosystem Services Project could not be successfully undertaken by one organisation and requires a partnership approach.

Management Advisory Board

A Management Advisory Board oversees the Ecosystem Services Project and is comprised of the following members:

Dr. Brian Walker CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems (Chair)
Andrew Campbell Land and Water Australia
Anna Cronin National Farmer's Federation
Bernie Wonder Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry Australia
Lindy Hayward The Myer Foundation
Samantha Baillieu The Myer Foundation
Michael Myer The Myer Foundation
Stephen Hunter Environment Australia

Within the Ecosystem Services team, there is a core skill set that is relied upon to lead each of the project components: project management, communication, modelling, scenarios, markets, and economic valuation. However, many other skills are needed which have been sought with the development of a partnership arrangement with five CSIRO divisions, and with collaboration with other research organisations and institutions.
